Configure TradingView webhook alerts for Capital.com

Complete the webhook step for tradingview to capital.com automation with structured payloads, stop loss and take profit sent with the order, and execution visibility in TradeAdapter.

Step 1

Pick the Capital.com epic on your Strategy

Capital.com names every instrument by an epic, which can differ from the TradingView symbol. Choose the ticker on your Strategy under My Brokers from the broker's own list so routing for TradingView webhook automation is mapped correctly.

  • Gold is GOLD, Brent is OIL_BRENT, WTI crude is OIL_CRUDE, S&P 500 is US500, Nasdaq 100 is US100, DAX is DE40, EUR/USD is EURUSD
  • Every epic is listed on the Supported symbols pages, one page per market: shares, crypto, commodities, currencies and indices
Step 2

Add strategy and create TradingView alert

Attach your Pine strategy, validate backtest results, then create an alert for buy/sell events.

Credentials live on the broker you saved under My Brokers; market, ticker, order type, and quantity are configured once on that broker's Strategy — never in the TradingView alert. If your strategy uses Limit order type, or has Stop Loss / Take Profit enabled, also include "order_price": "{{close}}" in the alert. If your strategy has "Sync with TradingView position" enabled, also include market_position and prev_market_position from your strategy.
